When Jonathan joined Coca-Cola South Africa as Human Resources (HR) Director in March 2007, he brought with him more than a decade of experience in the field. By leveraging his knowledge and understanding, he’s intent on making Coca-Cola South Africa "one of the best companies to work for".

Previously Jonathan was the HR Executive Manager for the Edgars chain of stores in the Edcon Group, which he became part of in November 2005. Before that he was at BP, where he rose through the ranks from the position of Training Manager to that of HR Manager for BP Southern Africa. He also spent two years in the UK as BP’s HR Manager for Strategic Accounts. BP was his first stop after working as a drama lecturer at a number of universities and as a trainer at the Centre for Conflict Resolution.

He holds a BA Honours degree in Drama from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in Durban, South Africa, as well as a Project Management Diploma from Damelin and a Certificate in Strategic Hour Management from Harvard Business School.
