Cathryn Merle Coetzer joined The Coca-Cola System in 1999, as the Group Alternative
Beverage Manager for Coca-Cola SABCO, responsible for South Africa, Mozambique,
Uganda, Namibia, Tanzania, Kenya and Ethiopia. She subsequently transferred to The
Coca-Cola Company, where she held positions as Non-Carbonated Beverage Director
(NCB) for the then Southern and East Africa Division and, later, as Coca-Cola Africa
Group NCB Director and Marketing Capability Manager. She became CCSA Main Market
Director on November 1 2007, after she had acted for a few months as Customer and
Commercial Director for CCSA.
Cath holds a Bachelor of Primary Education Honours degree from the University of
the Witwatersrand, and a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of South
Africa.
