Apppointed President of Coca-Cola South Africa in February 2007, Bill’s career with
The Coca-Cola Company spans more than a decade, during which he has held various
senior positions in diverse markets across Africa.
He first joined Coca-Cola as Deputy Regional Manager for Coca-Cola West Africa in
1997. In 2000 he became Regional Manager for Coca-Cola Mid-Africa and Islands and
a year later was appointed Regional Manager for Coca-Cola East Africa. He held the
position of Regional Manager for Coca-Cola East Africa and Islands from 2002 until
2005, when he was named President of the East and Central Africa Division. This
was his last post prior to heading up the South Africa Business Unit.
On July 1 2008 Bill became President of the Coca-Cola Africa Group Business Unit,
which combines South Africa, Nigeria, as well as East and Central Africa. He retains
responsibility for Coca-Cola South Africa.
Before Coca-Cola, Bill worked for the Eastman Kodak Company in the US and Germany.
He holds a BSc degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA in Finance and Marketing
from Howard University in Washington DC in the US. He’s fluent in English, French
and German.
