The bottler of Coca-Cola products in the Western Cape and Northern Cape, Peninsula Beverages (PenBev) started operating from its first plant in 1940 and grew in size through the acquisition of Worcester Minerals in 1974 and Koelbly in 1997.

Employing 1 300 people, it currently has three operating plants in Parow, Athlone and Vredendal.

PenBev is particularly proud of its corporate social investments, which tackle socio-economic issues and improve the quality of life in its communities. The company is also a leading sponsor of special events in the Western Cape, as well as other more local activities.
